WHAT IS “LEGENDS OF VURLES?

LEGENDS OF VURLES (LoV) is a SOUL CALIBUR 5 (SC5) machinima production using photoshopped graphics of rendered characters combined with music, sound effects, voice acting, and SC5 gameplay footage for battles. LoV, created by [mindless distortion] productions, will use a gameplay/anime like style for viewers to watch. Characters have “sprites” that are stayled uniquely to represent them in different outfits. Voice actors give the graphics life, and with background and sound effects, a life like environment is created. While the LoV sprites are created using character creation cut-outs from SC5.

“In this screenshot, you see the three main characters: Zatch, Marla, and Leon. The visuals look very similar to that of a chat based system on an RPG game. Characters go “dark” when they arent speaking, and character avatars switch out when they leave or enter. The written script will also be displayed on screen. Above the characters, you can see the location and time of day of the events. In the background, a picture of the location is also shown.”

WHAT IS “LEGENDS OF VURLES” ABOUT?

LoV is a story about a group of knights known as the ABULIN CLAN. These members spend their whole lives training and studying to protect the kingdom of VURLES. The top knights in the kingdom, the Abulin clan holds Mastery Exams to see if their students are worthy of becoming Knights of Vurles. The story is focused on three “siblings” Zatch, Leon, and Marla. With their Mastery Exams coming up, conflicts and other events occur which changes the Abulin clan forever.

AUDITION INFORMATION

Some of the characters for the pilot episode have already been cast. Below, I will post the characters whose roles I am currently casting. This post will remain the primary source for all future LEGENDS OF VURLES casting. Check back regularly as new characters will be available upon their roles being created.
